pre algebra practice

In the previous post we have discussed about Significant Figures Calculator and In today's session we are going to discuss about pre algebra practice. Algebra is said as the study of statements in the form of the mathematical expressions, where we convert the statements in the form of the constants and variables joined with the help of the mathematical operators. For Pre Algebra Practice, we need to understand how to convert different statements in the form of the expressions.

First thing we must know that the values which are unknown in the expression are represented by some of the variable names. These variable names can be written in the form of the combination of any alphabets and numbers. Suppose we have a statement as follows: 5 added to a number gives 9, then we observe that the number is not known.
Let us assume that number as N.
Thus we can write above statement as :
N + 5 = 9
Now in order to solve the value of the given variable, we must remember that the variable must be placed on the one side of the equation and the constants are taken to another side of the equation. For movement of the constants or the variables from one side of the equation to another, we must take care of the following rules :
· The Positive sign( +) is replaced by a negative sign and the sign of minus ( - ) is replaced to a plus ( + ) sign.
· The operation of multiplication is replaced by the sign of division and the sign of division is replaced by the sign of division, when the term is moved from one side of the equation to another.
This help us to get the value of the variable in the given equation.

To learn about the topic Ribonucleic Acid we can look the books from the icse syllabus for class 8. This topic is also available online.
